If you’re planning your wedding, you are most likely planning your bachelorette party as well. If you look on Pinterest, there are so many themes, places to go, what to do, etc. The ideas are limitless.

Depending on how involved you want to be, it can be overwhelming as a bride, especially since you are planning your wedding as well. For me, I wanted to be involved as much as I could; however, I did converse with my maid of honor a lot. I figured out where I wanted to go, stay and a couple of things I wanted to do. The rest I left up to my maid of honor.

Similar to every other bride, I had a ton of ideas (places, themes, things to do) saved on Pinterest for my bachelorette party. However, in the year of Covid, I needed to pick a place to go where we would not need to quarantine prior to going out and exploring the area. I also needed to consider prices of the stay, flights, things we would be doing, etc.

I am the type of person who does not like to go to the generic bachelorette party places (Nashville, Miami, etc.)

So how did I narrow down where I wanted to go & stay? Easy, I made a list of places I would like to go for my bachelorette party. I created an AirBnB account (it’s free) and searched the locations I would like to go and saved the places that I would like to stay in to a list titled “Bachelorette Party”.

Some of the places I saved were:

  • Tulum, Mexico
  • Amalfi, Italy
  • Ravello, Italy
  • Atrani, Italy
  • Bora Bora, French Polynesia
  • Reykjavik, Iceland
  • Santorini, Greece
  • Lavrion, Greece
  • Aliki, Greece
  • Bali, Indonesia
  • Scottsdale, Arizona

I know, I had big expectations for my bachelorette party. To be honest, I just started adding potential vacation spots.

Another thing my maid of honor and I did was create an itinerary. The itinerary was more of a guide of places I wanted to go and things I wanted to do. It also helped with planning out outfits for the vacation so I didn’t over-pack (which I did anyway lol).

Best advice I can give to you other brides when it comes to your bachelorette party is the following:

  • Decide how involved you want to be in your bachelorette party planning
  • Make a list of where you want to go & possibly stay
  • Once you know where you are going & staying, make a list of what you want to do or see (restaurants, shops, outdoor excursions, etc).
  • Make an itinerary
  • Plan out your outfits
  • When the day comes to leave, enjoy & have fun 🙂

I hope this blog post helps out, even a little. I will be blogging about where I went for my bachelorette party, where we stayed, what we did, etc. Congrats to all you new brides!
