This past Saturday, my sister, sister-in-law, and one of our best friends went to see Hilary Duff in concert for her Lucky Me Tour!
Honestly, it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to! We’re talking cute outfits, belting out the lyrics to all her songs, and just pure nostalgia.
She held her concert at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan. It’s about an hour’s drive from Ann Arbor and a 45-minute drive from Detroit. We stayed at our lake house for the weekend, which was only about an hour and a half away.
We did pay for premier parking, which is so worth it if you ever plan to see a concert here. Parking is close to the West Entrance, and it makes it much easier to leave after the show.
She played songs from her new album, Luck…or Something, as well as nostalgic songs from her early days. Why Not, This Is What Dreams Are Made Of, Come Clean, and more!
Everyone’s outfits were amazing too! People dressed up as different versions of Lizzie McGuire, Isabella, Miss Ungermeyer—I even saw someone online who dressed up as Gordo!
The venue was packed with millennials who grew up with Hilary Duff, and it was amazing to witness the pure bliss everyone had while singing along with her.
We originally paid for lawn seats, but about an hour before she was scheduled to go on, we upgraded to actual seats in the pavilion for $77.00, and it was the best $77 I have ever spent! There really is no bad seat at Pine Knob; however, the lawn is pretty steep and can get really packed depending on who you see.
Some photos of our outfits below!
